Mangwon-dong is a small neighborhood in Seoul, filled with many small shops, each with its own atmosphere.
The map was made by collecting favorite places and interesting points discovered at regular shops over six years of spending time in Mangwon-dong. As someone who enjoys observing their surroundings, MasaJinyoung recorded small details and everyday stories noticed inside these spaces.
Created in Japanese, the zine invites readers to walk through the alleys and slowly experience Mangwon-dong for themselves.
망원동은 서울의 작은 동네로 골목마다 작지만 각기 다른 분위기의 가게들이 많습니다.
지도는 6년 동안 망원동을 오가며 좋아하게 된 가게와 단골 가게에서 발견한 재밌는 포인트들을 모아 만든 진입니다. 주변을 관찰하기를 좋아하는 masajinyoung이 가게에서 발견한 작은 특징이나 사소한 이야기들을 기록했습니다.
골목길을 직접 걸으며 망원동을 천천히 만나보길 바라며 일본어로 제작되었습니다.
